New Year 2015!

Assalamualaikum...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

as last year, this year I celebrate my new year in UK with my bestie ^_^'

however, this year is a bit different from last year since this year the Mayor of London issued a special ticket for the fireworks viewing area...my bestie came upon it last year and we bought it on October for £10...we choose the nearest area where the fireworks will be held as to avoid what happened last year -_-' pfft~

before we headed to the fireworks event, I went to met my cousin who happen to be in London for a short vacation with her family...remember I told you that I have a cousin studying in UK?

  

thats my cousin's sister family that came to London...and ya, my cousin already finished with her study and already went back to Malaysia for good early of January...so I have no more relatives here in UK...wuwu~ -_-  

we had a light dinner at Edgware Road and right after that we head to Westminster for the fireworks event...since my cousin's flight to Malaysia was the very next morning, she didn't follow us to the event...

unlike last year, this year there are 2 security check to the fireworks area...this is the first security check just apposite Malaysia Tourism office since our viewing area, N1 is located here...

this was at 7pm!! the queue was already this loooooong~ pfftt -_-` thought that we will be stuck here forever, but nahhh it just move slowly because people keep cutting the lines infront...arrgghh!!

after we went through, there is another security check...this time, they really check your bag, and also body check...luckily we had a female guards and they ask the ladies to go first...ahaks! so we dont have to wait that long to pass through the second security check...then we walked a bit and we chosed a place to sit that near to the exit...

and this was our place that we chose to sit...haha...luckily my house has a blanket (like a picnic blanket) belongs to the previous tenant (think that they left it on purpose)...so we brought that along since we knew that somehow we need to sit rather than standing for 5 hours waiting for the fireworks =D 

after 5 hours of waiting.........the COUNTDOWN BEGINS!!!

however, this might be our second last experience and the last one would be when we are going back to Malaysia for good later...huhu...

right after the fireworks, we waited around 10 minutes and to avoid the crowd later we headed to the exit since we need to walk to Victoria Station to catch a tube...its such a loooong walk~~pfft

oh ya, every year, after NY celebration, the transportation will be free from 11.59pm - 4.30am :D

we reach home around 2.00am and there goes my experience of celebrating NY 2015~
